Saju Hari

Born in Kerala, living in London, Saju graduated in Electronics Engineering in Bangalore, before training in contemporary dance and martial art Kalaripayattu. Saju featured in Akram Khan Companys Bahok, a collaboration with the National Ballet of China that is touring inter-nationally. He is a teacher of the Akram Khan Cie. His own choreo-graphies commissioned by The Place and Royal Opera House new:currents have included Opaque Image, Re:URGENT and Inside Out and his collaboration Lunatic Express with Kenyan dancer Kebaya Moturi explored the 1890s building of the Nairobi railroad by African and Indian labour.
