Piergiorgio Milano

Piero starts his career as street performer; at the age of 21 he moves to France where he gets the diploma of “circus actor”. During this period he develops his interest into physical theatre and dance. After he moves to Amsterdam where he studies choreography at school for the new dance development “SNDO”. He worked with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, David Zambrano and Roberto Olivan, and created two pieces of his own that won several prizes.

Piero proposes a personal approach to contemporary dance mixing different ways of research movement like fly-low, capoeira and release technique. Students are challenged by a playful approach of movement qualities, body states and steps. The class is a good opportunity to improve physical condition, to explore own creativity and to push the ability in fast solving problems.
