Alicia Motta approached contemporary dance in 2006 taking lessons with different teachers, notably with Alejandra Tillar in Mendoza, disciple of Isolde Klietmann. She studied visual arts at the UNCuyo university, where she became a founding member of an art collective making political urban interventions. In parallel she joined a contemporary dance collective “Colectivo Rojo Libre” from 2008 to 2014 creating various dance pieces and doing urban interventions as well. Throughout her multidisciplinary parkour she also trained in clown, neutral mask, object’s theater: creative skills for composition. In 2018 she moved to Belgium and joined the Formation at DCJ with several high professionals teachers and dancers, and followed the dance methods of Roxane Huilmand.
