Theatre Technique(s)

Danscentrumjette offers a Theatre Technique(s) class on Monday evenings, organised in different modules across the year. These are technical classes building on skills rooted in theatre and physical theatre practices, while also considering how these tools can be applied in post-dramatic performance contexts.

Each module explores a different area: ensemble technique, stage presence, and voice and text. This are practice based classes designed to provide/refine technical skill and support performers in developing tools that can be adapted to a range of contemporary performance approaches.
