This class is open to everyone. No experience in movement or dance is needed. Only the desire to move and dance. Alicia offers a space for those who need: physical training, to gain strength, flexibility, mobility, body-consciousness, while applying all these concepts in dance phrases -short choreographies- and sometimes, she will guide small moments of improvisation. It is a space of learning and of pleasure through dance based on Roxane Huilmand’s method.
The method of Roxane Huilmand approaches body-availability to move -and to dance- through the knowledge of your body in relation to space, time, gravity and multiple other physical realities. It is a learning process which contributes to the understanding of your body structure: your muscles, joints and skeletal features, and increases the consciousness of the relation between your body and mind allowing you the most freedom possible to translate your imaginary world into your dancing.
